Dear Moments Co. ("we", "us") runs dearmomentsco.com, where you can order personalised photobooks and watches. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.
What we collect
- Contact details - the name, email address and phone number you give at checkout. You don't need an account to order.
- Your photos - the photos you upload so we can print your photobook.
- Order details - what you ordered, delivery or pickup details, and payment status.
- Payment details - the M-Pesa phone number used to pay and the transaction reference. Payments are processed by Safaricom M-Pesa and NCBA Bank; we never see or store your M-Pesa PIN.
How we use it
- To make, deliver and support your orders, including printing your photos.
- To take and confirm payment.
- To contact you about your orders (for example, your order confirmation and receipt).
We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run the shop: our web host (Hostinger), which also stores the photos you upload, payment providers (Safaricom M-Pesa and NCBA Bank), our email provider (Google) and the couriers delivering your order. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your contact details and order records for as long as we need them to support your orders and for accounting and legal purposes. Uploaded photos are kept only as long as needed to produce and support your order.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. To do so, email us at the address below.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to remember your cart and the orders you've placed on this device. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
